A wonderful excursion to antiquities, ancient theaters, the "Lion Gate", the Cyclopean Walls and the Vaulted Tombs of Mycenae, as well as excellent Museums. All these features make your private tour of Corinthia and Argolis wonderful.

The first stop of our excursion is Ancient Corinth, which controlled the critical position of the Isthmus, was the most important commercial hub of the ancient world and was considered the richest city of ancient Greece.

After Ancient Mycenae you will arrive at Nafplio, the first capital of the newly established Greek State after the fall of the Ottoman Empire in 1829.

In Nafplio you will tour the old town and feel the aura of the 19th century architecture, going back in time. You continue walking through the narrow alleys, passing old mansions and admiring the three most important sights of the city, the Ancient Acropolis of Nafplio, the Venetian Castle of Palamidi and the sea Castle of Bourtzi.

In the city of Nafplio, the Ancient Acropolis, built on top of a conical hill, located at an altitude of 270m, makes its presence felt. from sea level and 170m. from the surrounding area.

The Venetian castle of Palamidi is located east of the city of Nafplion on a hill 216 meters high. It was named after the local hero Palamedes, son of Nafplius. It was built and fortified during the 2nd period of the Venetian rule (1686-1715) to designs by Ziaxich and Lassalle. It is a typical baroque fortress and consists of 8 independent bastions.

Burji, a sea castle on the rocky island of the harbor, was rebuilt by the Venetians after the departure of Mahmud Pasha in 1473, equipping it with newer cannons.

You can take a lunch break at the port, before heading to the final destination of our excursion, the famous theater of Ancient Greece, the Theater of Epidaurus, located near the Asklepiion, the great temple of medicine in the ancient world.

The Ancient Theater of Epidavrus was built in a ravine in 340 BC. by the Argive architect Polykleitos the Younger, according to Pausanias. It has excellent acoustics, had a capacity of 13,000 spectators and is divided into two parts. One of the 21 rows of seats for the people and below, of 34 rows of seats, for the priests and lords.
